Greening the Future 2021
In 1998, the Mail & Guardian launched the Greening the Future supplement, near the end of a big decade for sustainability, with the Rio Earth Summit in 1992 and the Kyoto Protocol on climate change in 1997.
In 2020 TEA was commissioned to produce the website and print supplement that accompanies the weekly national newspaper. In 2021 we were asked to do it again. The brief was to formulate a timeless and relevant look and feel to last a number of years. Each year we refine the look and feel slightly for a fresh appeal with new a coat of paint as it where…
QR codes are printed with each winner profile so that readers can scan the code in the print supplement and be taken to each online profile on the website.
TEA was also commissioned to design and build the website for mobile audiences. A mobile 1st approach was undertaken which tied into the QR codes implemented in the digital supplement. The social media campaign graphics were also produced by TEA
